[edit] Description
The Tarot of the New Vision is a Waite-Smith clone that faithfully reproduces Pamela Colman Smith's images but rotates them 180ยบ to reveal what is the unseen portion of the familiar scenes. The change of perspective is intended to reveal new symbols, characters and details to expand and inform the meanings of the Waite-Smith Tarot. However, those symbols, characters and details are the invention of the Tarot of the New Vision artists and do not appear to be based on a researched extrapolation of what Smith would have thought.
