[edit] Description
The Celtic Dragon Tarot is a joint effort between artist Lisa Hunt and author D.J. Conway, which mingles the landscapes and symbols of the Celts (Irish, Scots, and Welsh specifically) with the image of the dragon. Both Major and Minor Arcana are fully illustrated, and the deck follows the Rider-Waite in card meanings and some imagery. The Wands suit is associated with the element of Air and Swords are Fire, and the only significant change to the traditional card titles is the Devil, which becomes "Chains". In soft watercolours, each card shows human beings and dragons interacting with each other and their environment.
The deck comes packaged with an accompanying book, which explains the imagery, symbolism, and meaning of each card, as well as giving the reader some "Dragon Tarot Candle Spells" and meditations to work with dragons.
